We manned the phones during fundraising events for incoming donations.
We walked dogs, led enrichment activities, and socialized with animals to prepare them for their forever homes.
We prepared rooms in the maternity ward, sorted donations for families, and staffed community events.
We registered people experiencing homelessness for free showers + haircuts and handed out lunches.
We strapped on our tool belts and helped build homes for US veterans.
We cleaned up inside and out to keep the facilities looking fresh.
We sorted donations for children in foster care and adoptive families.
We staffed events to teach families about water safety, provide school supplies, and fit kids for bike helmets.

Credit unions are not-for-profit, so the profit we do make is spent toward innovation for our member services and supporting our community. One way we do this is by donating to nonprofits during our Refi for a Reason promotion.
In addition to volunteering and fundraising, we show support to those that are often overlooked in our community to help them feel a sense of belonging + show them kindness.
We assembled care packages that we handed out with meals to people around our branches experiencing homelessness to let them know they are not alone.
We surprised local fire departments with lunch to thank them for their dedication to keeping our communities safe.
We visited residents in assisted living facilities with flowers, snacks, and friendly conversation.
We got crafty and put together fun cards for kids currently in the hospital to brighten their day and remind them someone is on their side.
We can’t solve all the world’s problems, but for our members and local community, we can make a world of difference. Pay it Forward allows us to offer funds to people in times of crisis or when they don’t know how they’ll make ends meet.
We created SunWest Cares to improve the overall well-being of our communities, whether that’s through financial means or showing up for others. The healthiest communities are the ones where people connect and show compassion for each other, and that’s the mission we’ll continue striving to fulfill.
